The London Eye

We arrived in Gatwick at 6:00 a.m. We took the train to Victoria Station where we transferred to the underground to Great Portland Street. We walked to the hotel and left our luggage. Off to the London Eye. It is a large Ferris wheel on the Thames.

We walked through wind and sleet to get to the Eye, but the sun shone on our “flight”.

The wheel does not stop. You have to jump on to the capsule, which holds about ten people.
